A Bit About Me

Dr. Rabia Rafiq treats many different hand and foot conditions non-surgically by providing gentle chiropractic adjustments to the hands and feet. If you are in search of a non-surgical solution for your foot pain in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Rafiq is an option you should consider. She is a hand and foot chiropractor who has taken high-level training in providing chiropractic foot adjustments. In fact, Dr. Rabia Rafiq is a member of Chiropractic Hand & Foot Clinics Of America™, a national fellowship that trains and certifies doctors of chiropractic in the application of chiropractic hand and foot adjusting techniques.

You may be familiar with chiropractic as an option for spinal healthcare.  Dr. Rafiq is a chiropractor by degree and she thus provides spinal adjustments just like you’d expect from a chiropractor, however she has taken chiropractic to a whole new level in her St. Louis Chiropractic office.

If you’ve never experienced an adjustment to your feet you don’t know what you’re missing!  The foot adjustments that Dr. Rafiq provides at her St. Louis chiropractic hand and foot clinic are an amazing experience for her foot patients.  The chiropractic foot adjustment is generally a very pleasant experience for her patients.

Dr. Rafiq, St. Louis chiropractor helps many patients with conditions such as:

  • Plantar Fasciitis

  • Heel Spurs

  • Arch Pain

  • Flat Feet

  • High-Arch Feet

  • Bunions

  • Hammer Toes

  • Bunionette (5th toe bunion)

  • Neuromas

  • Pain, Numbness, Tingling

  • Ankle Sprains and Ankle Pain

In addition to adjusting the feet to correct foot pain and dysfunction, Dr. Rafiq also adjusts the tiny bones and joints in the wrists and hands as well as other areas of the body. Through repetitive use and stress, the hand bones and joints may lose their healthy alignment. A hand condition often starts as a subtle soreness in the palms or fingers or a numbing sensation in the fingers.  These symptoms can eventually lead into more severe symptoms of wrist and hand pain or weakness and loss of grip strength. These symptoms are commonly associated with misalignments of the carpal and metacarpal bones in the wrist and hand.  When these bones are not aligned properly it pinches and irritates nearby nerves and causes stress to the joints. Dr. Rabia Rafiq, St. Louis chiropractor has been trained to use gentle chiropractic adjustments to the hands and wrists to alleviate pain and stress to correct your hand condition.

Common wrist and hand conditions that Dr. Rafiq often treats in her St. Louis chiropractic office include:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

  • Wrist Sprains

  • De Quervains Tendonitis

  • Trigger Finger

  • Thumb Arthritis

  • Numbness and Tingling

  • Weak Grip Strength
